Delicious Make-Ahead Mashed Potato Casserole With Bacon Recipe

Ingredients

– 900 g potatoes
– 100 g cream cheese
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
– 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
– 1 cup shredded cheese

Method

1. Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water for about 15 minutes or until tender.
2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash them well until smooth.
3. Mix in cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until combined.
4. Stir in cooked bacon and green onions. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Top with shredded cheese and bake at 180°C for 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
