Delicious Healthy Oatmeal Cookies Recipe For Guilt-Free Snacking

Ingredients

– 2 cups rolled oats
– 1 cup mashed banana
– 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
– A pinch of salt
– 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, mashed banana, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Stir in peanut butter, milk, and optional nuts or chocolate chips until well combined.
4. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking tray, leaving space between each one.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then let cool before serving.
