Ingredients
– 115 g butter, softened
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup cocoa powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup dried cranberries
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully combined.
4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring until just blended.
5. Fold in the dried cranberries and chocolate chips. Use a spoon to scoop the dough onto the prepared tray, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
