Ingredients
- 1 cup millet
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander, for garnish
Method
- Rinse the millet under cold water and drain well.
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté cumin seeds until fragrant.
- Add chopped onion and cook until golden brown. Then stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Mix in the chopped spinach and sauté for a few minutes.
- Next, add the millet, water, garam masala, and salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer until the millet is cooked, about 20 minutes.
