Delicious Spinach And Millet Pulav Recipe For Healthy Eating

Ingredients

  • 1 cup millet
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander, for garnish

Method

  1. Rinse the millet under cold water and drain well.
  2. Heat oil in a pot and sauté cumin seeds until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook until golden brown. Then stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Mix in the chopped spinach and sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Next, add the millet, water, garam masala, and salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer until the millet is cooked, about 20 minutes.
