Chana Masala Recipe
Ingredients
1 can (400 g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt, to taste
Fresh coriander, for garnish
Method
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the canned tomatoes, chickpeas, and spices. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.
