Ingredients
4 slices of bread
1 cup of crushed tomatoes
2 cups of fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Fresh basil leaves
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2. Spread crushed tomatoes evenly over each slice of bread.
3. Drizzle olive oil on top of the tomato layer, then season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Add diced mozzarella cheese on top of the seasoned sauce.
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Add fresh basil leaves before serving.
