Swiss Cheese Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
300 ml dry white wine
150 g Gruyère cheese, grated
150 g Emmental cheese, grated
1 clove garlic, halved
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon kirsch (cherry brandy)
Black pepper, to taste
Bread cubes, for dipping
Vegetables, for dipping

Method
Start by rubbing the inside of a fondue pot with the cut sides of the garlic.
Pour the white wine into the pot and heat it over medium heat.
Once bubbles start to form, gradually stir in the grated cheese, letting it melt completely.
Mix the cornstarch with the lemon juice and kirsch, then stir this mixture into the cheese.
Season with black pepper, and serve with bread and vegetables for dipping.
