Ingredients
500 g broccoli
500 g broccoli rabe
40 ml olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Method
1. Start by washing the broccoli and broccoli rabe under cold water. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Toss the broccoli and broccoli rabe into the pan. Sprinkle salt over the vegetables and stir well. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the vegetables and mix everything gently. Cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Sprinkle sesame seeds and freshly ground pepper on top before serving.
