Braised Kimchi Recipe

Ingredients
– 1 medium napa cabbage (about 1 kg)
– 2 tablespoons salt
– 2 cups water
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 2 cups chopped kimchi
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon minced garlic
– 1 teaspoon minced ginger
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Method
1. Chop the napa cabbage into manageable pieces. Toss it with salt in a large bowl and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
2. After 30 minutes, rinse the cabbage with water to remove excess salt. Drain well.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped kimchi and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add the drained cabbage, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger to the pot. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
5. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for about 20 minutes until the cabbage is tender. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
