Ingredients
– 1.5 kg whole ham
– 1 cup bourbon
– 0.5 cup gochujang
– 0.5 cup brown sugar
– 0.5 cup honey
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. In a bowl, mix bourbon, gochujang, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
3. Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
4. Brush the glaze over the ham, ensuring it gets into the scored areas.
5. Roast for about 1.5 hours, basting with extra glaze every 30 minutes, until heated through.
