Delicious Homemade Blue Cheese Mini Pretzels Recipe

Ingredients

250g blue cheese, crumbled
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup butter, melted
1 large egg
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)
1 tbsp baking soda

Method

Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Crumble the blue cheese into the bowl and mix well.

Pour the melted butter and beaten egg into the mixture. Gradually add warm water until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a pretzel shape.

Dissolve baking soda in hot water and dip each pretzel before placing them on the tray. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
