Ingredients
250g butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped
Method
Start by preheating the oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
