Ingredients

– 500 g Brussels sprouts
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method

1. Start by trimming the ends of the Brussels sprouts. Slice each one in half.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the Brussels sprouts and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Mince the garlic and add it to the pan. Stir in salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until sprouts are golden and tender.
4. Remove the pan from heat. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and lemon juice over the Brussels sprouts. Mix gently.
5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving. Enjoy your delicious dish.
