Ingredients
– 4 salmon fillets (about 150-200g each)
– 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Lemon wedges (for serving)
Method
1. Combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This will help the seasoning stick better.
3. Rub each fillet with olive oil, then coat them evenly with the spice mix.
4. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon skin-side down and cook for about 4 minutes.
5. Flip the fillets carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
