Ingredients
– 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
– 3 tablespoons cooking oil
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 medium carrot, sliced
– 1 medium potato, peeled and cubed
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 400 g tomato sauce
– 250 ml water
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Method
1. Heat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
2. Once the onion is ready, add the chicken pieces. Cook until the chicken turns golden brown on all sides.
3. After browning the chicken, stir in the carrot, potato, and red bell pepper. Mix everything together for about 3 minutes.
4. Pour in the tomato sauce, soy sauce, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
5. Check the seasoning and adjust if needed. Serve hot over rice.
