Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipe: Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
1 kg potatoes
125 ml milk
50 g butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped chives
Method
1. Begin by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into equal pieces.
2. Place the potato pieces in a large pot and fill it with water.
3. Bring the pot to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, usually about 15-20 minutes.
4. Drain the potatoes well, then return them to the pot.
5. Add the milk, butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, and chives. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy.
