Delicious Andhra Style Munakkada Masala Kura: Drumstick Dry Curry

Ingredients
400 g drumsticks
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, slit
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon garam masala

Method
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the mustard and cumin seeds. Once they pop, toss in the chopped onion and green chilies. Cook until the onion turns golden brown.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, followed by turmeric and red chili powder. Mix well and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

Add the drumsticks, sprinkle salt, and mix everything together. Cover the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

Remove the lid and check if the drumsticks are tender. Add garam masala and stir to combine.

Serve the drumstick curry hot with rice or roti.
