Ingredients
– 1 cup of crushed biscuits
– 1/2 cup of melted butter
– 500 g of cream cheese
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup of pumpkin puree
– 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Combine crushed biscuits and melted butter in a bowl. Press this mixture into the bottom of a cake pan to form the crust.
3. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and blend until combined.
4. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gently stir this mixture into half of the cream cheese mixture.
5. Pour the cream cheese layer into the crust. Swirl in the pumpkin mixture using a knife for a marbled effect. Bake for 50 minutes or until set.
