Ingredients

– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 1 packet (7g) dry yeast
– 2 cups warm water (about 45°C)
– Extra flour for dusting
– Olive oil for greasing

Method

1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast together.
2. Pour in the warm water gradually, stirring until the batter is smooth and thick.
3. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise for about 12 to 18 hours.
4. After rising, flour your hands and the work surface, then turn out the dough carefully.
5. Shape the dough into a ball and place it on a greased baking tray. Let it rest for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 30 to 35 minutes.
