Instant Pot Tomato Dal Recipe: Easy Delicious Lentil Dish

Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 cup split red lentils
1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon turmeric
750 ml water

Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in the Instant Pot using the sauté function.
2. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds, cooking until they start to pop.
3. Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the onions are soft.
4. Mix in the lentils, diced tomatoes, turmeric, and water.
5. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 10 minutes.
