Churma Ladoo Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1 cup jaggery, grated
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or cashews)
Method
1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the whole wheat flour and roast until it turns golden brown and fragrant. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
2. Once the flour is roasted, pour in the water gradually while stirring. This will help to form a dough.
3. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool for a bit.
4. When the mixture is cool enough, mix in the grated jaggery and cardamom powder until well combined.
5. Shape the mixture into small round balls and then roll them in chopped nuts for added crunch.
