Delicious Instant Pot Short Rib Ragu Recipe For Easy Family Dinners

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef short ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 ml diced tomatoes
  • 250 ml beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 400 g pasta of your choice

Method

  1. Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to sauté. Add olive oil and let it heat.
  2. Brown the short ribs on all sides, then take them out and set aside.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion becomes soft.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Return the short ribs to the pot.
  5. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 45 minutes. When done, use a quick release. Cook pasta according to the package instructions, then serve it with the ragu on top.
