Ingredients

Method
1. Begin by preheating the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish or line it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
3. In another bowl, beat together the sugar, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
5. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
