Method

1. Rinse the rice under cold water until it runs clear.
2. In a pot, combine the rice, water, oil, and salt. Bring this to a boil.
3. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until cooked.
4. Stir in the peas, carrots, bell pepper, soy sauce, green onions, and beaten egg. Cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
