Blackened Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (170g each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 lemon, for serving
Method
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly on both sides.
Place the salmon on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it blackens slightly and is cooked through.
Serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over the salmon.
