Ingredients
– 1 medium cabbage, chopped
– 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
– 1 tablespoon oil
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
– 1 teaspoon green chili, finely chopped
– ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method
1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
2. Stir in the grated ginger and green chili. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until they soften and blend well with other ingredients.
4. Mix in the chopped cabbage along with turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Stir everything together to coat the cabbage.
5. Cover the pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes on low heat until the cabbage is tender. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
