Lemon Coconut Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
240 ml coconut milk
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Salt to taste
Fresh herbs for garnish
Method
1. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey. Stir well to mix everything together.
2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. This will help thicken the sauce.
3. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan, stirring continuously.
4. Cook until the sauce thickens, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
5. Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Serve it warm or at room temperature, and garnish with fresh herbs.
