Ingredients
– 8 slices of bread
– 250 g cooked turkey, shredded
– 1/2 cup pesto
– 1 cup shredded cheese
– 4 tablespoons butter
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
1. Start by spreading pesto on one side of each bread slice.
2. Place shredded turkey on top of the pesto on four of the slices.
3. Add cheese over the turkey and season with salt and pepper.
4. Cover with the remaining slices, pesto side down, to form sandwiches.
5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook sandwiches until golden on both sides and the cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes per side.
