Ingredients
– 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
– 1 cup pecan halves
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup corn syrup
– 1/4 cup bourbon
– 3 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Place the pie crust into a pie dish and press it down.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, corn syrup, bourbon, eggs, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
4. Stir in the pecan halves until evenly distributed, then pour the mixture into the pie crust.
5. Bake for about 50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
