Ingredients
– 1 cup of sugar
– 2 cups of pumpkin puree
– 1 cup of cream
– 3 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
– ½ teaspoon of salt
– 1 store-bought pie crust
– 1 cup of pecans, chopped
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
2. In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cream, and eggs until smooth.
3. Add vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mixture. Stir well.
4. Pour the filling into the pie crust and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
5. Bake the pie for 15 minutes at high temperature, then reduce to 180 degrees and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
