Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal

- 1 cup milk

- 2 tablespoons honey
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
2. Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
3. Whisk together the milk, oil, and eggs in a separate bowl. Pour this into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
4. Transfer the batter to the greased dish. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
5. For the honey butter, blend softened butter and honey together until smooth. Serve with warm cornbread.
