Ingredients

– 4 slices of bacon
– 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
– 1 apple, thinly sliced
– 75g blue cheese, crumbled
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
– 1 tablespoon honey
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Method

1. Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until crispy. Once done, transfer to a paper towel to drain excess fat.
2. In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Add the shredded cabbage, sliced apple, and crumbled blue cheese to the bowl.
4. Chop the cooked bacon and walnuts, then add them to the salad mix.
5. Toss everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
