Delicious Eggless Gingersnap Cookies: Thick, Chewy, And Irresistible

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup molasses
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling)
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 2 teaspoons ground ginger
– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add molasses and mix well. Then, gradually incorporate the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
4. Roll the dough into small balls, then roll each ball in sugar before placing them on the prepared baking tray.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set. Let them cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
