Juicy Crispy Steak Recipe
Ingredients
– 4 steaks (about 200 grams each)
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
– 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
– 60 ml beef broth
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Method
1. Take steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it’s really hot.
3. Season both sides of each steak with salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
4. Place the steaks in the skillet. Sear each side for about 3-4 minutes until a nice brown crust forms.
5. Add butter, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, spooning the melted butter over the steaks to keep them juicy.
