Honey Nut Cheerio Treats with Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Marshmallow
Ingredients
200 g mini marshmallows
½ cup peanut butter
3 cups honey nut cereal
100 g chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
Method
1. Begin by melting the butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the mixture becomes smooth.
2. Mix in the peanut butter until it’s fully combined. Remove the pan from heat.
3. Pour in the honey nut cereal and stir gently until all the pieces are coated with the mixture.
4. Add the chocolate chips and quickly stir to combine before they start to melt.
5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Press down firmly to create an even layer. Allow to cool and set before cutting into squares.
