Ingredients

– 1 ½ cups milk
– ¾ cup sugar
– ½ cup cornstarch
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 ripe bananas
– 300 ml whipped cream
– 1 pre-made pie crust

Method

1. Combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens, which will take about 10 minutes.
2. Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in vanilla extract. Allow cooling slightly.
3. Slice the bananas and arrange them evenly in the pre-made pie crust.
4. Pour the thickened mixture over the bananas, spreading it evenly.
5. Top with whipped cream and chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
