Ingredients
1 cup of coarse bulgur wheat
1 cup of water
6 cups of milk
1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of roasted chickpeas
1/4 cup of grated coconut
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Method
Start by rinsing the bulgur wheat under cold water.
Combine the rinsed bulgur and water in a bowl.
Allow the mixture to soak for about 1 hour.
Heat the milk in a large pot, then stir in the sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla.
After that, mix the soaked bulgur into the milk mixture and cook over medium heat until thickened, approximately 15 minutes.
