Ingredients
500g firm tofu
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornflour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 spring onions
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method
Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Coat each cube with cornflour fully.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the tofu until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

After frying, add chopped spring onions, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir everything together in the pan until well combined.
