Ingredients
500 g fresh cherries, pitted
1 cup milk
3 large eggs
1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Powdered sugar (for serving)

Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish with butter.
2. Place the pitted cherries evenly in the dish.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, flour, sugar, and salt until smooth.
4. Pour the batter over the cherries in the baking dish.
