Masala Fries with Mango Salsa and Raita Recipe
Ingredients
4 large potatoes
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 ripe mango
1 small red onion
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cucumber
Method
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Cut the potatoes into thin strips and place them in a large bowl.
3. Toss the potato strips with oil, garam masala, paprika, and salt until evenly coated.
4. Spread the seasoned fries onto a baking tray in a single layer and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden.
5. While the fries cook, prepare the mango salsa and raita. Dice mango and red onion for the salsa. For the raita, combine yogurt, lemon juice, and grated cucumber in a bowl.
