Ingredients
– 4 large eggs
– 4 slices of bread
– 4 slices of cheese
– 4 slices of ham or bacon
– 30 ml butter
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– Optional: fresh spinach or tomato slices
Method
1. Start by heating a frying pan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
2. Crack the eggs into the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the whites are firm.
3. While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread in a toaster.
4. When the eggs are ready, place a slice of cheese and ham or bacon on top of each egg. Allow them to melt slightly.
5. Assemble each sandwich by putting the egg, cheese, and ham or bacon between two slices of toasted bread. Add spinach or tomato if desired.
