Easy Teriyaki Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
60 ml soy sauce
30 ml honey
15 ml rice vinegar
15 ml sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon cornstarch
60 ml water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Method
Combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan.
Add minced garlic and ground ginger to the mixture.
Bring this mixture to a simmer over medium heat while stirring occasionally.
In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add it to the saucepan.
Cook for another 1-2 minutes until it thickens. Stir in sesame seeds if desired.
