Ingredients

– 1 kg pork shoulder
– 2 cups vegetable broth
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
3. Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Brown the pork in the pot for about 5 minutes on each side.
4. Pour in the vegetable broth, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Bring everything to a simmer.
5. Cover the pot and transfer it to the oven. Cook for around 5 hours or until the pork is tender.
