Caramel Panna Cotta Recipe
Ingredients
500 ml thickened cream
100 ml milk
100 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp gelatin powder
60 ml water
200 g caramel sauce
Pinch of salt
Fresh fruit (for topping, optional)
Nuts (for topping, optional)
Method
Pour the thickened cream and milk into a medium saucepan.
Add the sugar and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar starts dissolving.
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it sit for a few minutes.
Once the cream mixture is hot, remove it from the heat and stir in the gelatin until fully dissolved.
Divide the panna cotta mixture into cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and add fresh fruit or nuts if desired.
