Apple Muffins Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) chopped apples
1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
1/4 cup (60 ml) vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
2. Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
3. In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, and vegetable oil. Mix this well with the dry ingredients until just combined.
4. Fold in the chopped apples gently. Avoid overmixing the batter.
5. Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
