Cottage Pie Recipe

Ingredients
500 g minced beef
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup frozen peas
Salt and pepper to taste

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. In a large skillet, cook the minced beef over medium heat until it’s browned. Add the chopped onion and diced carrot, cooking until soft.
3. Stir in the minced garlic, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce, followed by the beef broth. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Mix in frozen peas and season with salt and pepper. After mixing well, transfer the beef filling to a baking dish.
5. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
