Ingredients
– 2 cups of self-raising flour
– 1 cup of milk
– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup of sugar
– 1/2 cup of butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1 cup of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
– A pinch of salt
– Extra butter for greasing
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish with extra butter.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt together.
3. Add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is combined.
4. Fold in the mixed berries carefully to avoid squishing them.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
