Quick Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cans (400g each) diced tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Method
1. Heat the olive oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Close the lid and cook under high pressure for 10 minutes, then release the pressure.
