Ingredients
1 cup brown rice
2 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 bay leaf
1 carrot, diced
Method
1. Rinse the brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Add the rinsed rice, water, olive oil, and salt to the Instant Pot.
3. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped onion, black pepper, paprika, bay leaf, and diced carrot.
4. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 22 minutes.
5. Once done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then switch to quick release to remove any remaining pressure.
