Delicious Kathiawadi Dhokli Nu Shaak Recipe For A Flavorful Meal

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup gram flour
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 ½ cups chopped spinach
1 teaspoon cumin seeds

Method

1. Combine whole wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt in a bowl. Add water gradually to make a smooth dough.
2. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into thin discs.
3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown. Add cumin seeds and cook for a minute.
4. Pour in the remaining water and bring to a boil. Gently add the rolled discs into the boiling water.
5. Cook for about 10 minutes until the dough discs are soft. Stir in chopped spinach and allow it to wilt before serving.
